Rapid Core Healing: Practical Trauma Informed Therapy Definition and techniques
The Rapid Core Healing process is the foundation for Practical Trauma Informed Treatments for trauma recovery.
Rapid Core Healing (RCH is a master dual psychotherapy founded by Yildiz Sethi. Rapid Cor Healing works at cause of human emotional and psychological disturbances and trauma recovery.
We facilitate self-healing:
- We look at the issue and locate the neural paths and healing-pathways that is at cause
- Consider symptoms to track back to the cause because I concentrate on resolving the issues.
- Concentrate on resolving the issue rather than creating managing and coping strategies
- Family of origin bonds
- Effective therapy that resolves issues in a handful of sessions – not months and years
- This is highly effective “Practical Informed Treatment” processing, with the emphasis on Practical; putting grounded theory into practical trauma informed processing techniques from 24 years of running a practice
- Using the fact that the brain can be healed see Norman Doidge
- Techniques that were developed through Rapid Core Healing (RCH). RCH is a practical psychotherapy modality with its own philosophy, theory and practice. It deals with wide range of personal and generational issues and traumas.
- Cost effective and quick – Rapid Core Healing requires an average of 2-4 sessions (not months or years) for each complex issue or trauma, for a large proportion of the population.
So, if you have had enough and ready to let the issue go – then contact us.
Why the need for a new approach?
The problem is that the medical model of mental health for a large proportion of the population consists of cognitive behavioural therapies and medication.
With a focus on changing negative thoughts and behaviour in working with symptoms through cognition and behaviour through a range of strategies. The focus is about working with symptoms, rather than the cause. Details
In terms of trauma CBT – it has been adapted to trauma treatments that continue
to work with cognitions and behaviour through a range of strategies Details
“Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is the most effective treatment for PTSD. CBT usually involves meeting with a therapist weekly for up to four months. The two most effective types of CBT for PTSD are Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE)” National Library of Medicine. Details siting a 48-53% reduction of symptoms
Trauma Informed Counselling
Many trauma informed counsellors or psychotherapists work towards raising understanding of symptoms and raising awareness and providing a safe place to unpack or share their problematic or traumatic stories. There is a belief that over time trauma symptoms may decline. Such exploration of trauma is often traumatising in itself, according to my clients.
The problems of working this way are, that trauma is locked in the mind body connection subconsciously, so its hard to reach if you don’t have the skills and techniques to do so.
Counselling can cause re-traumatisation
If the therapist does contact a trauma, if they don’t have the appropriate effective, skills to process it in the session, the client will leave in a traumatised state. Many therapists think its ok to leave the client in the vision or feeling of the trauma, thinking that somehow, this is processing it.
From my point of view, this a dangerous and unnecessary practice. Details
These have shown that at the core of a wide range of mental health problems are frequently based:
- In problematic family of origin relationships
- disturbed emotions
Conclusion on counselling and CBT
This means that attempting to use cognitive logic or applying strategies to a problem with its roots locked in a disturbed emotion or trauma is often unlikely to find lasting solutions. This is because rational, cognitive thoughts are not equipped to deal with emotional content or trauma.
Further, while understandings may raise awareness does not in itself result in effective processing.
The Brains Way of Healing (2016) Norman Doidge Psychiatrist Details is a leader in this field who challenges many of the beliefs held by the medical model on mental health and trauma.
Through my work with clients since 2000 and through further studies, I have discovered that there are two types of trauma. Those that arise from traumatic incidents in life and those arising from generational trauma and formative years. While both are trauma and mostly repressed in the subconscious body and mind, in my experience they each require:
- Specific knowledge
- Techniques for safe non-traumatising processing
The mind is a powerful source of wisdom and healing.
The good news is the subconscious and generational mind are not only the source of problems, but also a treasure trove of wisdom, creativity, innovation and possibilities.
When these are elicited in practical therapeutic and effective processing, they can be guided through healing pathways, so that the body’s natural impulse towards homeostasis can co-create in self-healing. Create new learnings, inner-solutions, possibilities and from this place a deeper understanding of oneself and others.
So, new perspectives may materialise. Providing more space for freedom to move forward with more confidence and potential to enter into a better relationship with themselves and others.
Yildiz Sethi’s experience with her clients frequently showed her what had gone wrong and what was required to restore or create a healthier balance.
In her practice of over twenty years Yildiz found that many mental health and relational problems have their roots in disturbances and trauma. In assisting clients to resolve the core of their symptom, mental health or trauma, she found that their symptoms frequently resolve, or are mostly, much easier to work with.
Her private practice, showed her that human beings carry two strands of potential disturbances and trauma that can hold them back from being the person they can be. These have their roots in either the family system, or personal life choices and experiences, or both. She recognised that each of these roots require a specific approach for accurate and effective treatment.
This is why Rapid Core Healing is composed of two modalities that form a two pronged approach: These are Family Constellations founded by Bert Hellinger and Emotional Mind Integration founded by Yildiz Sethi.
About Family Constellations
Family Constellations as founded by Bert Hellinger is a brief, experiential process for generational patterns, relationships and generational trauma.
The Family Constellations(FC) process is a powerful, phenomenological, experiential and solution focused modality. FC provides pathways out of the disturbances, burdens, patterns and trauma inherited from the family system and facilitates a healthier reconnection to the love therein, to nurture a healthier sense of worth. How worthy you feel, is at the core of self-esteem and the potential for autonomy and success.
The Family Constellation process may take place in workshops or private sessions.
About Emotional Mind Integration (EMI)
Emotional Mind Integration (EMI) was founded by Yildiz Sethi in 2016.
EMI is a complete brief neuro-trance-psychotherapy. It is a modality with its own philosophy, theory, processes and techniques for individual disturbances, triggers and trauma from daily life experiences.
- focuses on the presenting issue
- locates the source
- guides practical trauma processing
All within a 60-minute session, for each disturbed neural pathway
This involves a fusion of phenomenology, counselling, psychotherapy, hypnosis, ego state therapy and aspects of Family Constellation theory and practice and neuroscience. This in an elegant and streamlined series of processes through healing pathways.
About Rapid Core Healing (RCH)
RCH is the dual approach of Emotional Mind Integration and Family Constellations for a range of life issues that we humans are challenged with. A complete approach for Practical Trauma Informed Treatment, for personal and systemic trauma recovery. In only a few sessions for each complex issue or trauma.
Rapid Core Healing: Practical Trauma Informed Therapy Definition and techniques
Practical Trauma Informed Treatment through Rapid Core Healing is a way of fusing vital theory from neuroscience, epigenetics, up-to-date psychotherapy, trauma informed knowledge and present day innovation.
For practical, effective, processing of complex trauma: Personal and generational in brief and deep interventions.
The Rapid Core Healing modality operates within each sub modality seamlessly and alternates where appropriate. In this way, it guides and accommodates the requirements and processing of the client’s self-healing through the mind body with a range of Family Constellation and Emotional Mind Integration techniques.
RCH completes each session with integration.
It requires an average of 2-4 sessions for each complex issues or trauma related symptoms. Including PTSD and Sexual assault recovery in the same time frame.
Where does Rapid Core Healing sit in present day counselling and Psychotherapy?
Rapid Core Healing (RCH) comes out of the Humanistic side of psychotherapy with a phenomenological, psychodynamic, framework. A fusion of former psychotherapies and hypnotherapy.
It is brief, experiential and solution-focused. Using information informed by neuroscience, epigenetics and trauma informed knowledge with present day innovation in mind science.
It comes out of Yildiz’s understanding of the human core requirements for wellness. These are Love, Connection, Safety, Justice, Dignity and Autonomy. The absence of one or more of these in the life of an individual, becomes the possible source of disturbances, that frequently becomes the foundation of dis-ease of the Mind, Brain or Heart.
Utilises the knowledge that comes out of neuroscience that acknowledges the neuroplasticity of the brain and its ability to rewire and heal. This means that change and healing is possible for many of us:
- If we look after our body
- Source effective methodologies to process, disturbances and trauma.
This enables self-healing.
Rapid Core Healing is at the forefront of psychotherapy developments for the twenty first century and suitable for a wide range of mental health, trauma recovery and personal development.
RCH is cost effective in providing treatment suitable for the broad population in a cost and time efficient manner.
I visualise a time when disturbances are resolved as quickly as they arise so no one has to deal with the resultant frustration or having to be labelled with a mental illness. Especially, if it can be resolved relatively quickly and thoroughly. Dealing with issues as they arise, for self-healing and growth as a norm throughout life.
